On Friday, June 2nd, 2017, Prof. Boleslaw Szymanski presented  the keynote entitled "Large Scale Community Detection in Social and Bio-Medical Networks" at the IEEE Parallel and Distributed Processing for Computational Social Systems (ParSocial 2017), part of the IPDPS2017 Conference in Orlando, Florida. The keynote focused on challenges of parallelization of community detection especially for social and bio networks which often are built from noisy datasets and often lacking ground truth data.
